The wildlife rehabilitation function of
TAILS Humane Society has been
transferred to Oaken Acres Wildlife
Rehabilitation Center in rural Sycamore. 

 

TAILS is no longer accepting wild animals.  Please contact Oaken Acres at (815) 895-9666 for
assistance with injured and orphaned
wild animals.   More information is available on

TAILS Tales

Cami 

My son and his family just adopted a Beagle puppy mix named Cami!  She has been so very good and they are delighted.  Katie spent a long time with them helping them get started on the right foot to ensure a permanent home for Cami and a good experience for her human family.  They look forward to a long and happy life together.  Cami recently spent time at our house visiting and she played with our Tails rescue dog, a 15 year old Dachshund named Daisy.  They must have known each other were from a shelter because they had an instant attraction.  A joy to watch them both.
